Our nursery in Redhill aims to be a warm and happy place where your children can be looked after with plenty of stimulating fun, rest, cuddles and healthy food.
By the time they ‘graduate' Tiddly Winks into Key Stage 1, they will have grown into inquisitive and socially aware children with years of happy memories.
We value the importance of our parents/carers as children's primary care-givers, and our role as your child's secondary caregiver. We aim to create strong bonds with both the children who come to us, and their parents who we continuously work alongside throughout their journey at Tiddly Winks. We place great emphasis on a robust key person system, a flexible settling in period, face-to-face drop off and collection inside our building, regular parents' updates about your child's progress, as well as parents' evenings and parent information and networking events.
please get in touch via our enquiry form.
We pride ourselves on our parent partnership and enjoy hosting events for parents throughout the year including; school readiness information sessions, parent consultation evenings, Mother's & Father's Day breakfast, toilet training 1-2-1's, nutrition consultations with a qualified nutritionist and preschool graduation to name a few! All of our drop offs and collections take place face-to-face, inside the nursery.
All of our snacks and meals are prepared using fresh ingredients and cooked on site by our chef, Ali. Our menus have received an advanced accreditation with the Early Years Nutrition partnership to ensure children have access to a nutritionally balanced and low sugar diet whilst at nursery.
Childcare in Redhill that keeps parents in the loop
Tiddly Winks Nursery uses LearningBook to document your child's learning and achievement. LearningBook is a digital app that gives you an important insight into every stage of your child's learning journey while attending our Redhill nursery. Even the smallest steps are to be celebrated, and LearningBook allows you to do just that.
You will have full access to your child's learning journey, the progress they have made, notes from nursery staff and even photos and videos to capture each achievement. You can also add your own insights, comments and photos, allowing us to both share information that benefits your child and make Tiddly Winks their ‘home away from home.'
If you need any assistance in setting the app up or have any questions about the system, please let us know and we will be happy to help.
Tiddly Winks Nursery uses a system called Parent Admin app to communicate with parents. Upon registration you will receive a link to your account and will be asked to complete your child's online profile.
Then, you will be able to send messages directly to the nursery and vice-vera as well as view your invoices and account history.
Daily communication
We value the importance of getting to know our families during drop off and collection periods. During the Covid-19 crisis, parents were not permitted to enter nursery buildings and children were dropped off and collected outside. As soon as this restriction was lifted, we were very pleased to welcome our parents back inside our premises and have never looked back. All of our drop offs and collections take place inside as look forward to catching up with you at the end of your child's session and sharing with you the special moments from their day.
All of our rooms at our Redhill nursery have a main phone which you can be put through to by ringing the main nursery line for an update on your little one, or to tell us any messages that have arisen throughout the day.
All of the children in our Acorns and Little Oaks rooms have a daily communication book that goes back and forth between home and nursery to share details such as their sleep times, nappies and how much they have eaten and drank with us!
We have a monthly newsletter and events calendar that can be viewed here
We also have an Instagram account whereby we showcase our latest activities and events around the nursery.

Allergies/dietary requirements?
Allergies & dietary requirements are treated seriously. Upon starting the nursery, children with allergies/intolerances that have been confirmed by a medical professional, will have a care plan put together by their parents and the manager. All of our staff have completed allergy awareness training, our cook holds a Food Hygiene Level 3 qualification and our kitchen has undergone a rigorous risk assessment procedure. We are pleased to have received consistent 5* ratings by the Environmental Health Agency.
We have partnered up with the Early Years Nutrition Partnership, an organisation committed to improving nutrition standards for children in early years.
This both informs our menu choices and helps to encourage healthy eating habits outside of the nursery. You can find out more on their website.
Do you have any feedback?
